Neil SHARP Obituary

Peacefully passed on Tuesday, September 29, 2021, at the St Catharines Hospital, with his family by his side, at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis Margery (2020). Loving father of Ken (Michelle Leva) and Loretta (Gerald Kooter). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Matt), Justin, Jaclyn (Myles), Aaron (Jessica), Alysha-Lynn (Sam) and great-grandchildren Parker, Carter, Raelyn, Adilynn, Beau and Ford. Caring brother of Dennis Sharp. Neil was well known to the racing community and until he no longer could, Saturday night he would be found in the pits at Merrittville Speedway supporting his grandson in the 8s. He will be remembered as a great man with a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold. If so desired, donation to Parkinson's Canada would be appreciated by the family.
