Many a good chats were had at Okotoks Shell and other areas around town. Gord was always happy and full of conversation.
We are glad we got to know, Gord.
Many warm thoughts are sent to your family. We will light a candle tonight in your honour. God Bless You.

I was fortunate to have visited cousin Gord, with my cousin Ed Davis, for several days prior to his passing. He was bright, funny and showed more concern for others than himself.
Gord loved the extended Davis family, and I remember the many hours Gord and his Uncle Ralph (my father) spent sitting by the fireplace, enjoying a rum & coke, and talking about the history of the Davis clan, as well as all of the characters and individuals from the original Davis homestead near Etzikom.
You'll be missed, buddy.

Gord will be missed. He stood as a kind and loving man, always ready to laugh and bring comfort. I will always remember the smile. Each time we met through the years, it seemed only yesterday separated the distances. The last time I saw Gord at a branding I said, We'll see you next year. His response, Let's keep our fingers crossed. I did not know there wouldn't be a next year. My heart goes out to the family. A really good guy left with much more to be done and an aching void left behind. Ron Clarke, WCVM 70
