Colette Marie Daer, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away August 18, 2023 at the age of 62 years. She was predeceased by her daughter Andrea Daer; her father Andre Claude; sister Dianne McCallum; nieces, Corry Clauson, Jodi Kobialka; and son-in-law Nathan Kopec. Colette is survived by her husband Dave Daer; her daughters: Amanda Daer and her children [Reese, Easton]; Alanna (Justin Dries) and her daughter [Aubrey]; her mother Angeline Claude; siblings: Linda Kobialka (Dave Daku), Gisele (Larry) Shymkowich, Ray Claude, Jo-Ann (Walter) Paxman, Ronald Claude, Mike (Lynn) Claude; sister-in-law Ann Olson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The moment that you left me, my heart split in two.
One side filled with memories, the other side died with you.
I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep,
And take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek.
Remembering you is easy, I do it every day;
But missing you is a heartache that never goes away,
I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain.
You see life has gone on without you,
But will never be the same.
A Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. Luncheon followed the service at McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
