Shirley Reaney Shirley Aurelia Jane Reaney late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan passed away May 11, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Laney & Stanley Young; sisters, Marion Young & Evelyn Williams; brother, Ken Young and brother in law, Ken Williams. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 yrs, Gordon Reaney of Weyburn, SK; sons, Kevin (Krista) St. John of Kisbey, SK and Shane (Dawna) St. John of Weyburn, SK; step-sons, Deric Reaney (Christa) of Weyburn, SK and Bradly (Joanna) Reaney of Yorkton, SK; grandchildren, Alysha (Connor), Rory (Janelle), Jason, Justin, Kaelan, Kiersten, Kiley, Tanaya, Darius, Amy, Jarren, Cameron and Linnea; great grandchildren, May & Phoebe; sister, Marjorie (Bev) Kuhn as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Things About Shirley That I Loved: After Shirley and I had known each other for while we realized we had many things in common. We both liked to go for short walks and bike rides. We would load up our camper and bicycles during the summer months and go to the many different biking trails throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, North Dakota, and Montana. We loved to take canoe trips in these areas as well. When the winter months would arrive, we would stay at the Kenosee Inn and ride the snowmobile trails. Shirley was a natural mother; she loved children, was an excellent cook and a wonderful homemaker. She loved to garden and loved her flower bed. She made friends with the squirrels and birds. Always taking the time to make sure the bird feeder and bird bath were full for her feathered friends. Above all, Shirley loved God and very seldom missed church; even when we spent the winters in Arizona, she made sure to find a church close by. "Shirley was the kind of partner a man could only dream of having. I loved her with all of my heart and I am going to miss her terribly.": Her loving husband, Gordon. A Funeral Service was held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM from Gospel of Grace Fellowship (Calvary Baptist Church) 1619 1St Ave NE Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
