Daryl MAY Obituary

Suddenly at his home in Trent Hills on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in his 54th year. Daryl, beloved husband of Tammy. Dear dad of Mackenzie (Alex), Connor, and Dana. Loving son of Linell Marriott, Ken May and Gail May. Dear brother of Anne MacDiarmid (Norm), Brad May (Brigette), and Brent. Daryl is fondly remembered by all of his aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, friends, and to all who knew him. A private family service was held at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of Daryl's life will take place in the near future in which all are welcome. Details on this celebration to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daryl's memory may be made to the Charity of Your Choice.

I'm completely blown away by the news I just received. I can only imagine the loss, pain and sadness Tammy, Mac and Conner are feeling. I was lucky enough to meet D through work and he quickly became my friend. I want to assure you, your husband and father always spoke of you with a twinkle in his eye. You made him so happy and gave him life. I am so sorry you have to experience this now. We have all lost someone very special! Please take care! Bless!

This was such a shock to me as the picture that flashed into my head was of a young boy that I used to play in the senior/junior with. One of the boys my boys hung around with. My boys played golf with you and you were still quite close with them. I extend my deepest condolences to Daryl's family. He was one of a kind. A warm smile and a warm heart that I will always remember.

To the entire May family,

I am so sorry to hear of Daryl's passing. He was such an amazing man, in so many ways. We first met on the phone many years ago and what began as a business call soon became a beautiful friendship. We would talk to each other at least 2-3 times a week, more about our lives than work. We will miss him so very much and will always have the memories of staying at your beautiful home, fishing, enjoying fish frys, talking sports, chatting about our kids, etc. Forever love to you all.
