Franz SIMITZ

SIMITZ, Franz (Frank) February 5 1925 - June 1, 2018 Franz passed away peacefully with family at his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre, at the age of 93. Born in Burgenland Austria, immigrated to Canada in 1953, he lived in Richmond Hill for over 50 years and recently, Aurora. Husband to Bibiana of 64 years. Father to Ernest, Edith Burch (the late Randy), Gertrude Paraskevin (Ken), and Edward. Opa of Madeline, Emily, Julia and Michael. He leaves us with the love he had for his family, his lived values of honesty, integrity, reverence for nature, and enjoying the simple pleasures in life - such as tending his prize winning flowers. In keeping with the wishes of Franz in lieu of funeral services the family will hold a private celebration of life on July 7, 2018.
