Gordon PARKES Obituary

PARKES, Gordon Henry Gordon passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in his 87th year. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia (2012) and will be forever loved by his children Deborah Parkes, Diane (Richard) Westbrook, Cathy (Ken) Devine, Wayne (Carol) Parkes and Judy (Marv) Cowan; cherished by his grandchildren Michelle, Jason, Melissa, Aleta, Denise, Dustin, Steven and Matthew and his 11 great-grandchildren. Gordon will be remembered by his brothers Bill, Harvey and Donald, sisters Shirley Stephenson, Eleanor Whipps and Hazel Hardbottle and his many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion - Collingwood. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
