Irmgard Lipsius Obituary

Sunrise: March 2, 1932
Sunset: May 27, 2022
Peacefully, with her son and daughter-in-law at her side, in Woodhaven LTC, Markham. Cherished mom of the late Henry (Marianne), Bernie (Marsha), Richard (late Robin) and Ronald (Joanne), beloved Oma of Matthew, Devon, Eric (Chrissie), Arlene (Stephen), Stefan, Michael, Billy, and Lauren (Rogan). Also, the proud Great Oma of Jude, Isaac, Sophie, and Valencia. She had a long and interesting life, living through WWII, immigrating to Canada from Lithuania, being a single mom after a divorce and enjoying her grand and great grandchildren. Irmgard was loved and appreciated by all that met her. She was predeceased by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, and her ex-husband. A private family burial will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place, later in the Summer. If so desired, a donation in her memory, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, would be greatly appreciated.
