Kathryn Marion Horgan

1939 - 2022

Kathryn Marion Horgan (nee Sterling), 83, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 22, 2022, in Mount Albert, Ontario. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill); her children, Debbie (Brent) and Allan (Angel); grandchildren, Stephanie (Patrick) and Kristen (Alex); great-grandchildren, Ronen, Brooks, and Claire; brothers George and Ray; sister Pauline; brother-in-law Bob (Christa); niece Shannon and daughters, Mikalah and Tori. Kathryn is preceded in death by brother Roger.

Although these past 5+ years she battled with Pulmonary Fibrosis, her life was rich and full. Prior to her illness she enjoyed many hobbies, activities, and travelling. When Bill retired winters were spent 'snow birding' and summers included events and activities at the Aurora Legion. Kathryn had many friends at the Legion and she often assisted with the planning and coordinating of group activities.

During her illness she kept busy with knitting, puzzles, and entertaining her great-grandchildren. Her husband, Bill, was always there providing care.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for a donation to Southlake Palliative Care Program.

We each have our own idea of where the afterlife takes us, but there is one certainty, wherever Kathryn has gone the group activities are going to next level.
