Bob and family,
Although I cannot be there today please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Gone too soon Booby. I feel fortunate to have known you and payed with you. Our league will not be the same without you. We all enjoyed your game summaries being scripted and replayed as you pointed out our strengths so vividly and weaknesses at times done with such dignity and grace. We will miss your gentleness and kindness you showed consistently to everyone.
Gone but never gotten!

Anyone privileged to have known Bob knew his genuine nature from the first conversation with him.
The news of his passing brings sadness to his many friends in Unionville Mens Hockey Club. Bob played Sunday hockey with us for more than 20 years. He did much to create the camaraderie of the team, the enjoyment of the games, and the laughter. Bob was always fun.
My condolences to his family and loved ones. May you be comforted by a life filled with beautiful memories.

Bob was a great person and teammate and will be missed by all who knew him. From the Scugogian Chronicle to the paper towels to the shrimp traps, your warm personality and sense of humour kept everyone entertained. It was always a great pleasure to be fortunate enough to play hockey on the same team with you. It is very sad to know that I will never have the opportunity to do so again. My condolences to your family on such a tragic loss.

A true friend that I'm going to miss I was lucky to know him
Bob was always there when you needed a helping hand or just to meet for a cold one and a chat about everything.
He could make you laugh.
Always enjoyed the ride home with Bob from the rink in the Uxbridge Express.
Our sincere condolences to the McGinnes Family.

We'll all miss Bobby. His smile, sense of humour and laugh were infectious. He always reminded me of our mutual connection to Deseronto.

Always thoughtful and considerate to all. I remember his special kindness to my son when our sons played on the same hockey team. It hurts too much to see an old friend move on before his time. He was exceptional, cheerful and optimistic no matter what right to the end.You will never be gone, Bob.

Bob had a giant personality and heart to match. Will forever cherish the years spent with Bob playing hockey in the UMHC. His ever-popular game follow-up "Scugogian Report" showed his humorous wit and literary genius.
A fond memory....through some persuasion he took on the role of Santa for a couple of years at the Village Grocer's "Breakfast With Santa" event where he entertained kids. I'll never forget hearing a child ask him "Where are your reindeer"? He replied "They are up north resting for the big day when we bring presents to all the children around the world". The kid then asked "Well how did you get here then?" Bob quipped "West Jet".
I am forever grateful to have know Bob. Condolences to the Marylin and family. He will be missed very much.
