Robert McInnes Obituary
Known to friends and family as "Bobby", Robert McInnes passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2022 at the age of 80.
Bobby was a proud Scotsman born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he met and married his beloved wife and best friend Elizabeth "Betty" McInnes, a celebrated union spanning 57 years. Bobby and Betty moved to Canada with their three boys in 1973. Over the years Bobby became loved by many especially in his later years as the President of the Markham District Veterans Association. He will be deeply missed by Betty, his sons Mark (wife Lori), Stuart (wife Lindsay), Adrian (wife Malania) and his grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Maureen, and Jack, as well as all his other close friends and family.
All are welcome to Bobby's celebration of life, 5pm to 9pm on Saturday May 11th at the Markham District Vets Hall, 7 Washington St, Markham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Markham District Veterans Association by etransfer to [email protected].
