It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Winfried Last on Saturday, December 18, 2021, followed by Helga Last (nee Baumann) on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Helga and Winne found each other in 1989 with the help of an ad placed in a German newspaper. They were inseparable and devoted to each other for 32 years. They lived the good life, exploring Florida and Panama in the winter and returning to their beloved "cabin in the woods" in Baldwin. Neighbours would comment on how they seemed like newlyweds, always out for a walk, always holding hands. They leave behind their children, Sylvia Schelke-Lackmann from Florida, Cedric Schelkle from Listowel, and Michelle Wall from Saskatchewan, along with three grandchildren, James, Maggie and Jonathan Wall.
