Age 28, of Oakdale and formerly of Cottage Grove
Our beautiful Danielle has been taken from us. Gone are her big brown eyes, her infectious smile, her bear hugs, and the sound of her voice saying "luv ya!" Gone, also, are pieces of our hearts. She leaves behind her parents, Jan & Ed; brother Jason (Keri); sister Cory; beloved nephews, Cedar, Braden & Keegan; Grandma Peg; Aunts & Uncles: Sandy Robinette, Steve (Sandy) Goodson, Lynn (Mike) Bury, Sue (Mike) Barry, Mark Goodson (Becky Donahue), & Julie Rubbelke; many cousins; true love, Jay; and countless friends – some old, some new, and those yet to be made. She was preceded in death by Grandpa Ed, Grandma Betty, & Grandpa Anson. The Jelinek Family wishes to extend its thanks & gratitude to all who have kept Dani in their thoughts, prayers & hearts; and to all who searched for her. Special thanks to the Chisago County Sheriff's Department for its vigilance & compassion. Memorial Service: 3 PM, Friday, May 17, visitation 2 hours prior, at Five Oaks Church, 4416 Radio Dr, Woodbury. Private interment. I knew Danielle in school. In a time when cliques were supposedly the most important thing in the world, Danielle was different. She was popular and outgoing, but she treated me the same way she treated everyone else, with kindness. She never acted like she was better than anyone. I will never forget my interactions with her. She is gone way too soon, but she will never be forgotten, especially by me.

I believe that we moved out of Cottage Grove right before Danielle was born or very soon after...but we knew Ed Jan Jason and Cory...I wish we would have gotten to know her...so very sorry to hear about Danielle...think about and pray for her and the Jelineks everyday

I haven't seen Danielle since high-school, but I do remember how she was nice to everyone no matter what and how she could make you laugh even if you were having a bad day! She always had a smile on her face! My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends!

Danielle is such a gorgeous person. We have had the privilege of knowing her personally through high school, work and as a link in our circle of friends. She never had other emotions on her face than a large gleaming smile and bright round eyes. It was expected to receive hugs from her whether it was a hello or a goodbye no matter the activity or event going on. She has and ALWAYS will be deeply missed and we take pride to know her on a more personal level. So sorry she lost her life so young just shy of 28, but the memories she has given us will be in our hearts forever. I am glad Danielle you have been a part of the majority of my life. I love you so much and miss you like crazy Dani! I wish you were here this very moment but know you are the angel by my side as I walk my journey in life. Even though we didn't get to spend as much time together as adults as we did when we were kids, I am grateful we could still keep in contact from your wonderful texts, to your lovely phone calls which always raised my heart up. Although we have never met, I wanted to let you know that there are many people that you know and some you have never met, are praying for your families heavy tragic loss. To her mom and dad what I have read about your precious beautiful daughter Danielle shows what great parents she has, you did a terrific job as parents. There is no loss like that of a child. My husband and I had the pleasure of knowing Dani since we were kids. I played rec ball with her and she was always so much fun...you could always count on her for a good play at home plate. Her smile and laughter was contagious. We both hold onto her spunky personality, big brown eyes & genuine care for others. I never got to know her very well, but I know she was sweet and I am glad that I did get to know her in the way that I did. It was a very confusing Friday when Dani was finally found...in some respects, I was very sad that she was found, but at the same time, I was relieved that her family would be able to have some sense of closure. My heart is so saddened by this horrific ordeal that you have had to endure. I feel like I know Danielle through Shaun and Niki and am sending thoughts and prayers of healing and closure and answers so that justice is served. RIP beautiful Danielle!

I will forever cherish the memories Danielle & I made together. The pain of losing her is great for so many. I am not the only one who is a better person for having known her. She never took life for granted, her love for others & life in general is an absolute inspiration. Earth's great loss is now truly heaven's great gain. Giving up just wasn't her style-Dani will never leave us, she will continue caring for everyone whom she loves. Endless prayers & love to the Jelinek family.
