Description
The Baker name has been an integral part of Hendricks County Funeral business for more than 80 years. Charles E. Baker founded Baker Funeral Home in Danville in 1923. In 1933, Charles R. Rawleigh Baker graduated from The Indiana college of Mortuary Science and joined his father. Charles R. "Rawleigh" Baker and son, Charles W. "Bill" Baker purchased the Hall Funeral Home in Plainfield from Mr. Leon Hall in 1964 and renamed it to Hall-Baker Funeral Home. Both funeral homes are still family owned and operated. We are very proud to serve Hendricks County with The Finest in Funeral Service. Baker Funeral Service is well respected in the community for their hard work, determination, and dependability. They are dedicated to the personal attention and care they give to the families they serve.
