I am so sad to hear that Ms. Cooke is no longer with us, my heart hurts! My condolences go out to the family, you are all a great bunch of people and I consider myself lucky to have met you all.

Wow, Tomi is gone! Im so sorry for your loss. I became friends with Tomi when she was visiting Lou @ Elmhurst Extended Care. My Dad was there at the same time and we often shared meal time together. She was always bright, smiling, concerned and proactive in Lou's care and at the same time friendly with other patients and visitors too. She was uplighting and fun. I didnt hear from her this year @ Christmas and now I see she is gone. Im so sad to have missed saying good bye. My payers...

I was so blessed to know such a beautiful women that changed my life for ever and ever. Nan was happy go lucky all the time always a smile on her face no matter what was going on in our lives. No matter what was going on her famous words were I will prey for you hun and that helped get through alot you will be missed alot I love you and miss you so much already love you nan


God has blessed me with the most wonderful mother I could have ever asked for. I can't thank you enough for your generous heart and loving soul that you have always given to me and others who have known you.

I will miss my "best friend" but also know that your glorious spirit will be with me forever. I'll never be alone. I love you so.

Visitation for Allie "Tomi" Cooke of Villa Park will be Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service 5:00 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 South Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park. Interment is private. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin T. Russo and late David Cooke. Loving mother of Sharon (Dr. Ronald) Fernbach, Dr. Martin (Linda) Russo and Dr. Robert (Patty) Russo. Dear grandmother of John (Julie) Fernbach, Kimberly (Michael) Goocher, Martin (Lauren) Russo, Michelle Russo, Mary Grace Russo, Allison Russo and Brittany Russo.
