Amos " Glen" Rogers shined the love of Jesus to everyone! He was a dedicated Man of God, who loved Bible study, serving the Lord, caring for his family, and helping others! My son, Dan and I did not know him long, but we will miss this joyful, encouraging brother in- Christ!

Amos Glen Rogers, 76, husband of Brenda J. Cornett Rogers, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at the V. A. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born October 24, 1944 in Midway, KY, son of the late Glen and Mary Louise Phillips Rogers. 

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by two grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Rogers and Jesse Daniel Rogers. 

Retired as a Shipping Manager for IBM, he was a member and deacon at the Salt River Baptist Church and former member and deacon of the Goshen Baptist Church.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the First Entry Division.  His many enjoyments included farming, working outside, and loved spending time with his family. 

Including Brenda, his wife of 50 years, he is survived by his children, Amos Glen (Tammy) Rogers III and Christopher Jacob Rogers, both of Lawrenceburg, Joshua Mark (Lisa) Rogers of Owenton, Matthew Mark Rogers, Sarah Beth Rogers, and Rachael Starr Rogers, all of Lawrenceburg; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a brother, Donnie (Mary) Rogers of North Carolina. 

A Celebration of Life service with military honors will be held on Thursday, Sept. 23rd beginning at 6:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Bush officiating.  Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 3 – 6 PM.
