Not sure what to say?

I have great memories of catching the public bus to the Pickering Town Centre with Grandma Ann and her grandson, John. She would allow us each to spend a few dollars on a small toy while we were there, which we took forever picking out. A beautiful woman who will surely be missed.

I have fond memories of sitting in my parent's backyard in Pickering during summer afternoons talking with grandma about her youth and her life growing up (her stories about meeting grandpa and his efforts to court her are my personal favorites). I also fondly remember visiting her and grandpa and their home in Lombard. Time during those visits was spent trying to catch fireflies, drinking Shasta cola, playing Rummy 5000 on the back porch, eating her homemade kolachkies, and dinners out at...

Grandma, you were such a light to those around you. I remember you so well from your visits to Pickering. You were particularly kind and took a special interest in my older sister who was going through a difficult time as I grew up. Your warmth and love are so very beautiful. My deepest condolences to the Haydicky family on the loss of this great lady. How blessed we are to have this love in our lives.

My summers with grandma are some of the brightest memories from my childhood. She gave the best back scratches, told the most outlandish bedtime stories, and never scrimped on the powdered sugar. She loved deeply, competed fiercely (especially at card games), and gave generously (just try saying no to that $5 bill). She became "grandma" to our entire neighbourhood in Canada, and she will be missed by many. I love you, grandma (a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck).

The Higham family are very saddened to hear of the passing of such an wonderful woman, "Grandma Haydicky" as she was know to us in Canada. She was our adopted grandma and our kids loved and looked to her as their own. Always having time to play cards and other games with them when she came to stay at Phil and Josephine's for the summer. Grandma Haydicky was also very generous, Never forgot a birthday. She always had a story to tell.
She will be deeply missed by our family, and...

I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the Haydicky and Zumwalt families, Grandma was a very special lady. Loved it when she came to visit us in Canada. Rest In Peace Grandma Haydicky.

Love you , Grandma! I will miss you, but youre now with your Lover Boy again - Happily Ever After and the rest of our dear loved ones who have passed on.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
