Not sure what to say?

Ive seen Augie ussually 2 to 4 times a month. Seems like yesturday, but I have been cutting his lawn for 10 years. He always liked to watch me from the front or back door, probably wishing he was out there helping me. Will miss seeing him on Friday nights.

Augie was the sweetest man. I am away at school and we have exchanged letters the past 4 years. He always brightened up my day with his kind remarks and continous compliments! I loved seeing him in the first pew in church every Sunday, and I will miss his letters. Heaven gained another sweet Angel. Love you, Augie!!

Jane, Mark and Families –
Your Dad was more than just “Uncle Augie” in my life. He was my co-worker on Saturday nights during his “bartending” days. He was the “transportation man” to my first job in St. Louis. Many hours were spent in the comfort of his home when I was a teenager-plus. Great memories were made there. The last time I saw him it was so heartwarming that I have no doubt that short visit was meant to be. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed by all...

Dear Augustine Family all,
Augie was a wonderful man- my thoughts and prayers are with you all. There were so many good times when we were growing up- memories that will always remain.
God bless and keep you all in his care.

From watching you and your dad go thru everyday life together, you couldn't help but notice the love you two shared

Augie was such a dear sweet man. he was a customer first at Skootrs and fastly became a friend. his thoughtfulness and kindness always touched my heart. RIP sweet Augie, wrap your arms around Catherine. Earth has truly lost a great man

Sympathy to all the Augustine family. Augie's faith was an inspiration to many at Holy Childhood Church. His efforts to get to mass on a regular basis with his oxygen in tow will surely be rewarded. I'm sure Fr. Hartlein has welcomed him with open arms. Hugs to you all.

So kind a person who will be missed very much. To the family, you have our deepest sympathy. May God be with you's through this time of need. Bless all of you's.

I'm sure there is a heck of a game of euchre being played in heaven right now. Rest in peace Grandpa. You will be missed.
