Not sure what to say?

We will miss you Uncle August. Our hearts and prayers go to your family. It was so evident the love and enjoyment they brought to you. We so enjoyed seeing you whenever you were back in ND and the time we got to visit you all in WA. We will miss you, I always loved your hugs, kisses and stories.

Our beloved Uncle August... what an enormous loss. Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Caroline and ALL your wonderful children and grandchildren. Uncle August was very fortunate to have such a large, loving family. We are so sorry for your loss. We will miss him, too.

I will miss my dance partner.

What a great man. I will miss my dancing partner.

Dear Caroline

I was so sorry to hear about August. What a nice man he was and always so friendly. Sure was nice whenever you could make it to the dances. He danced as he lived life with that passion of loving what he was doing. Listening to him and George talk about North Dakota what fun that was..Both had the gift of gab.

To the Bachmeier family,
On behalf of the George Zacher and Anna Rose West family we would like send our condolences.
I loved how August and Dad used to tell jokes and laugh when they were together. Love August's laugh, dancing and of course that infectious smile….
He will be missed

Caroline, we're so thankful we got to visit with you & Uncle August this summer! We'll always remember him with his wonderful smile, & great sense of humor, and his storytelling! We hold you & your family up in prayer. Love, Jerome & Pam Held

I can still see him standing in the shop at the house on Sam St. with that big grin on his face while he watched Ralph & I with one of our ingenious projects that we always seemed to be involved in. I learned the value of a dollar & how important it was to think through any project so that it went smoothly. All things that we laughed off until we grew up and saw the value in what he was...

Dear Caroline and Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss of Augie, I remember the first time we met. I knew at that very minute that Augie was a very special guy! He was one in a million! Know that he love each of you dearly and spoke of you often. He was the most giving person of his time and talant as well as the best story teller, other than my own father I've known. I think that's why I thought so much of Augie, He reminded me so much of my own father. He taught my sons Kyle and Kirk to...
