Austin Marcel Sosa

Our beloved Austin Marcel Sosa passed away on August 7, 2021 at the young age of 31.


Austin was born on February 8, 1990 to Anibal Jr. and Mary Kay Sosa joining sibling Anibal L. Sosa III and sister in law Brandee. Despite his short time on earth he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him. Austin's passion was his photography and willingness to help others. A dedicated grandson to his grandparents Anibal Sr. and Romana Sosa and Sosa elders.


Austin earned his BA degree in Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California. Austin loved photographing a wide range of sporting events, Rams, Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers and Kings, even though he was a die hard Cubs fan he loved his Los Angeles teams. He also gave his time to various charities he was passionate about. Austin always had an adventurous spirit, he loved to travel and couldn't wait to see where his next adventure would take him. He had a very big heart when it came to helping anyone in need, including animals, he was also a big pet lover.


Austin will be forever remembered and loved by his parents, Anibal Jr. and Mary Kay; his brother Anibal III and sister in law Brandee. For all the live's Austin touched he will forever be missed and never forgotten.


Services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 12pm, at the Columbarium of Tenderness, Dawn of Tomorrow, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale California .
