Brenda Castro

Brenda Castro, 73, born on October 10, 1947, in Cojutepeque, El Salvador, passed away December 31, 2020 (Internment date January 26,2021). She resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of her passing. A brave woman, Brenda made her way to United States where she was a blessing and support for family and friends who followed in her steps to this country. She tried to make everyone feel seen in a way that she had perhaps never been seen herself. She cooked and delivered meals for the sick and never forgot about those in need in her home country. We thank Brenda who paved the way for a better life and who's efforts have enabled a line of first generation college graduates. A wise and admirable woman, Brenda is celebrated and will be missed. Brenda Castro was survived by her daughter and two grandkids. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

Brenda Castro, de 73 años, nacida el 10 de octubre de 1947 en Cojutepeque, El Salvador, falleció el 31 de diciembre de 2020 (Fecha de Entierro Enero 26, 2021). Residía en Los Ángeles, CA al momento de su fallecimiento. Una mujer valiente, Brenda se dirigió a los Estados Unidos donde fue una bendición y apoyo para la familia y amigos que siguieron sus pasos hacia este país. Trató de hacer que todos se sintieran vistos de una manera en la que quizás ella nunca se le había visto. Cocinaba y entregaba comidas para los enfermos y nunca se olvidaba de los necesitados en su país de origen. Agradecemos a Brenda quien allanó el camino para una vida mejor y cuyos esfuerzos han permitido a una línea de graduados universitarios de primera generación. Una mujer sabia y admirable, Brenda es celebrada y será extrañada. Brenda Castro es sobrevivida por su hija y dos nietos. Los arreglos están bajo la dirección de Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
