Bruce Michael Dobson

BRUCE MICHAEL DOBSON
(1947-2022)

Bruce Michael Dobson passed away in Chatsworth, CA, on November 28, 2022,
with his wife at his side, after a long, valiant fight against heart problems. He was
75. Bruce was born February 24, 1947, in San Diego, CA, to James Russell Dobson
Jr. (1923-2010) and Marjorie Phyllis (Winter) Dobson (1919-1982). His parents
met during their stints in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II. Bruce served his country as a sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam era,
later attending the Art Center College of Design, emerging with a Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree. He became an award-winning designer and a talented woodworker
and cabinet maker. He was sustained through life by his family and friends and by
the many faithful canine companions he adopted over the years. Early in life he
loved scuba diving for abalone off the coast of California and later in life he
enjoyed weekly visits to the dog park, HGTV and mystery novels. Preceded in death by his parents and his first wife of many years, Judy Ann
(Banuelos) Dobson (1948-2011). Survived by his spouse Vicki Lynn (Glaser)
Dobson, whom he married in San Diego in 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be announced. The family
