Cecilia Rita Putz nee Laketek at peace July 28, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Norbert Francis Putz. Loving mother of Ken (Mary) Marshall, Kristine (Jeff) Vann, Rosanne (late Frank) Linden, Patti (Mark) Jensen, Michael (Patricia) Vanhal and Connie (Dr. Fran) Kania. Dearest grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 11. Dear sister of the late Mary (Roman) Binder, late Anne (Dominic) Kment, late Father Victor Laketek, O.S.B., late Father Gilbert Laketek, O.S.B. and the late Sister Celine Laketek, O.S.B.  Visitation on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 3-8 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, IL. Additional visitation on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, IL. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Cecilia retired from Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, was a member of Lombard Senior Choir and a longtime active parishioner at St. Alexander Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Benedictine Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery, 1910 Maple Avenue, Lisle, IL. 60532 appreciated.
