Not sure what to say?

Vick was a roommate at Aggieland and I came to know Vick well. Then, as things do, I moved away and Vick and I lost track of each other. We hunted, fished, went camping and attended more A&M games than I can count.

After thirty-three years away from Texas, my wife and I retired and I elected to reconnect with some old friends; Vick was near the top of the list.

So the lesson of the Day? Don't wait as I did.

Vick was an awesome guy.

Vick's passing leaves a giant hole in our hearts. We will miss his stories, his great laugh, and the way he always warmed up a room just by being there. We loved him. Heaven is a much happier place today because he is there.

Sad to hear that Bonham has lost a great champion of our veterans, the elderly and so many handicapped in our area. Thank you to Vick and his staff for all that you've done for Bill and many others during the years. Our hearts go out to his family at the loss of a wonderfully caring man.

He was a thoughtful man, and I cannot remember him without a smile. Vic will be missed in our community. My condolences to the family for their loss.

Mom and I are so sorry for your loss -- Vick was a nice man, a good friend and neighbor - always ready to help when needed - he'll be missed by all of us

We will truly miss Vick & the great care he took of our veterans at the Bonham VA. I will miss sharing funny stories with him almost every time we talked. He was such a kind person. Rest in peace Vick!

I will miss Vick greatly. It will not be the same without him at Owens Parker when I call daily. He always took good care of all the veterans at the VA. Love Diane and Scott Wild

Vick was such a dear friend; I am heartbroken today, just remembering all the things he did for me, and us. His laugh, his funny stories, his love of every bodies animals and how he would pet and hold each one every time he came over and tell them how they were "good for nothing". Not a more dear friend could one have.
He will always be "deep in my heart".
We loved him much.

Marcia and Ron Nippert

I'm so sorry to hear of Vick's passing. I'm so sorry. He was always so nice whenever he spoke with me. I know he will be missed.
