Conrad's Obituary
Conrad J. Lind age 82, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War passed from this life on December 17, 2011. He received excellent care and comfort provided with dignity and respect at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital/Hospice. Conrad was the loving husband of Constance "Connie" nee Canezaro. Fond step father of Judi (Mac) Gretz, Kathy (Steve) Kreiter, Peggy (Jim) Zirko and the late Cynthia Taylor. He was the super proud grandpa of Brian, David and Kevin Zirko. "Papa" to daisy the poodle. He was a civilian employee with The Army Corps of Engineers, retiring after 30 years. A member of V.F.W. Post #2801, Villa Park, IL a good bowler and of course, an all Chicago teams fan. Visitation Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the St. Alexander Church Gathering Space, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials to the V.F.W. Post #2801, 39 E. St. Charles Road, Villa Park, IL 60181 appreciated. For further information 630-832-4161.
