Not sure what to say?

Darren and I met on a work detail at Ft. Polk in 1988 and became fast friends. We deployed together for Opn Desert Shield/Storm in 1990 and our wives looked after one another while we were gone. Darren was a great guy, and probably the best friend I had in the Army. He was my brother. I'm tremendously saddened to hear of his passing. To Shella, Jen and Ann - my deepest sympathies are with you. I sincerely regret not keeping in better touch with you guys over the years. Like you I will keep...

I served with Darren in Desert Storm. He was a good man and soldier. He will be missed!

Maureen & Family ~ I just heard the news today, so I am very sorry for the delay in expressing my condolences. I would've went on 2/17 for his 'Celebration of Life', what a wonderful idea & tribute that was! Although I never met Darren, he sounds like a very nice person with a kind heart (and knowing you, Mo, I'm even more convinced of it). May cherished memories remain in your heart forever, and knowing he is free of pain, surrounded by SO much love & beauty help bring you...

Darren & I were "Alfa friends" who met 'on-line' as we tinkered on our cars. I am sad to hear of his passing and wish I had had the chance to meet him in person. Godspeed "Tifosi".

Our prayers are with you and your family at this time. If we can help in any way don't hesitate to say so.

A great man, a friend to all he knew. RIP Darren

Shella, After all you and your husband had endured with his declining health you were able to stay strong and supportive of him through such a difficult time in your married life. You supported his wishes even though your heart was breaking. Your strength through that will help you along lifes path going forward. Take care, prayers are with you.

Shella, I am so sorry to hear about Darren's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will always remember the fun we had and the crazy things we did in high school. RIP Darren. You will be missed..

Sorry for your loss, Shella. It is said to see one of our class mates leave us at such a young age. I will always remember darren from our school days. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. Rip Darren you will always be remembered and never forgotten.
