David's Obituaries

David Joseph Robbins age 69; passed away on Monday May 10, 2010. He was born February 17, 1941 in Joliet, IL to the late Gerald and Jane Robbins. He married Janet S. nee Voigt on September 3, 1960 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wilton Center. David retired from Continental Airlines in 1983 and worked at the Villa Park Ace for the last 20 years. He was a member of St. Alexander's Catholic Church and a brother Knight. He enjoyed fishing and socializing at Maywood Sportsman's Club. He is survived by his beloved wife Janet and his children Timothy Michael (Melony) Robbins of Elmhurst and Mary Kathryn Robbins of Chicago; Grandfather of Kelly Ann and Kerry Ann Robbins of Elmhurst; brothers and sisters: Jerry (Loretta) Robbins, Rosalie (John) Thatcher, Jack (Linda) Robbins, and Margaret (Arnie) Johnson. Preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Jane Robbins, Brothers Ed and Richard and Sisters Maxine and Mary Jane. Funeral Saturday 9:00 am until mass time 10:00 am at St. Alexander Church 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, IL  Visitation Friday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Steuerle Funeral Home 350 S.
