Not sure what to say?

you are missed

Russells:

I just found out about David's death and I am very sorry to learn of it. My name is Garry Wilmot and my mother was his Aunt Margery (John's sister). We moved to Atlanta when we were very young and sadly we never developed a relationship with our cousins. Larry Russell (John's younger brother) called me the other day with this sad news. Again, I am very sorry.

Mary, Claire, and Isabel,
We were immensely saddened to learn of the loss of your husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you be granted strength and peace during this most difficult time for your family.

The Sisters of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Academy surround you with our love and prayers during this difficult time.

The bottom line for me was David was simply a great guy. He was very bright, insightful, gentle, and very funny. I think from what I knew of David he was passionate about learning; delving into stuff especially politics, literature, history, and of course sports. He also, was one heck of a cook. I will miss this gentle soul. He certainly left his mark on me. God bless.
