Not sure what to say?

Thank you for sharing your loved one with the thousands of us he guided. Mr Thayer truly was in the perfect profession. The Hurst family benefitted from the time he came to Dayton. He saw two of us graduate from Dayton, two more from Wainwright and one from McCutcheon. Fortunately, our next generation of the Seiters children and Tracy children also knew Mr Thayer.

Randall,
In these difficult times, please accept my sincere condolences and my sympathy for you and your family.
Michel

Our prayers go out to Mrs. Thayer and to the family on the passing of Mr. Thayer. Dave earned my respect early on with his unique ability to balance being a truly nice guy and at the same time performing his job as Chief Administrator at Wainwright High School. He was a man of true integrity and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a great influence on my life and for that I am thankful. RIP Mr. Thayer.

So sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was a fine man with a wonderful family. They are in our prayers. Rita and Mal

Mr. Thayer was one of the most influencial person in my life. He guided and directed us to become the people that we are today.

Be at peace my friend.

Dave was a good man who will be greatly missed. He leaves a legacy to be proud of. Leading by example Dave offered structure, guidance, and hope to those around him. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy goes out to friends and family.

My deepest sympathy goes to Nina Thayer and family. One cannot think of Dayton School without warm memories of Mr. Thayer, and his many contributions to our education and development. I had great admiration for him, first as a government / history teacher, and later as Principal of Dayton School. I felt so privileged to be asked to babysit for his and his beautiful wife's sons when I was in high school.

May each of you find comfort in memories of the good times you shared with...

I was privileged to have had Mr. Thayer as a teacher and principle at Dayton High School. He influenced my life, as he did many others. He earned the title of Mr. Thayer. My prayers to his family. Sincerely, Bob Ummel

To the family of Mr. Thayer~ He earned both my respect and trust through school and beyond. A very good man that I am glad to have known.
