Not sure what to say?

I met Dennis & Phyllis when I first started going to Harvest Rock Church in 2016. They were greeters at that time and I ended up going to the same life group that they were a part of. Since I was new to the life group, he and Phyllis were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable to be there. And one thing I remember most of Dennis, was to see how much he loved and adored Phyllis so well.
And the last time I saw Dennis, he had come to the church offices to drop off his tithes and I...

Gonna miss you Dunky Dennis!!!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My earliest memory of Dennis was being the ring bearer in his wedding to my sister Barbara when I was 6 years old. Almost 60 years of living since then, but I will always remember my earliest lessons in many things mechanical were learned while watching Dennis work on a large assortment of family, friends, and his own cars, vans and motorcycles. The knowledge I gained from him, I am sure, was the start of what allowed me to excel in the aircraft mechanical and electrical field I entered...

I wasn't close to Dennis, but I knew him as a loving and generous father, and I was privileged to be David's high school teacher. Dennis had a huge twinkly smile. Probably my favorite image of him was playing guitar alongside Terry Chesbro and Erv Payne in the country-blues band at our church picnic. He sang with gusto - as he lived his life. My love to all the family.

I know you're smiling down at us.

Dennis made a big difference in the lives of many of us in the sixties. His work in the church gave us hope. And gave us a positive direction. I know for sure it kept me out of trouble and kept me centered. Peace be with you Dennis, you will be missed.

We will miss you.

Dennis always fixed my old car when I was a single mother. He never hesitated to come and fix whatever was needed on my car. Later on he and Barbara even gave me a car when they bought a newer one. He was always very giving.

Thank you for the Ride and our three beautiful children, the JOY of my Life!
