Not sure what to say?

Dear Potter Family,
I was in Indianapolis visiting my father, Joe Quill (Cathedral H.S. '39, Notre Dame '47, '48), when I read about Don's passing in the Indianapolis Star. Don and my dad played basketball together at Cathedral and also were friends with Herb Melton who was in the law school with my dad and was the fencing coach at ND. (Herb also married Coach Leahy's secretary:)) I cannot express how deeply saddened Dad was to hear of Don's passing, remembering what a good friend,...

At this time of loss, know that you are remembered in a special way in sympathy and prayer.
May God bless and comfort you.

So proud today to have married into a wonderful family. He is in a better place.

Donald Potter's legacy will live on for generations through the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who mattered deeply to him. He made a meaningful difference during his life and will always be looked at as a man who loved his family and lived well. The spirit he infused into 250 Franklin Road remains. Condolences to all the Potters far and wide.

Mary Jo,
So sorry to hear about your dad.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Don was a mentor to me when I joined the SH Finance Committee, and he has always been one of my heroes. May he rest in peace.
