My sincere condolences to the Shumrick family. Dr. Shumrick was a great man, with a beautiful life. What a terrific roll model he has been to so many. Take good care of yourselves.

His funeral mass was beautiful and such a wonderful celebration of his life. You gave him the perfect send off, he was surely looking down on all of you at St. Cecelia's. We will all miss him.

My prayers go out to all of you. I wish I could be there for you. Great memories of knowing your father, husband, grandfather. My life is richer for having known Donald Shumrick.

"The Donald" was the original (before Trump)!! With affection, I always called him "The Chief", a designation he really seemed to like. I envision him holding court with the angels, saints and God himself. RIP.

Such a sad loss for many. He was a role model and mentor to a number of people of all kinds. He lived a wonderful and full life. I loved hearing all of his stories! Prayers to all the family. So fortunate to know such a wonderful soul. Forever in our hearts. You will be missed. God and peace be with you all.
