Not sure what to say?

I just saw this. It is a shock. He was a good mentor. Even after leaving Louisville he kept in touch with me. I will miss him.

George and I were good friends for years when he was a student at SUNY Buffalo--so many wonderful memories of a charming, zany, and intelligent friend with a zest and appreciation for life. I had always hoped to see him again...RIP my friend

I was friends with George when he lived in Rockford. One of my fondest memories of George was when I was lucky enough to enjoy his wonderful lasagna with him and mutual friends for a very warm and treasured evening.

Dr. Pack was a wonderful person and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed. A loss to UofL Condolences to the family.

Dr. Pack was a very bright man, with a great sense of humor and "joie de vivre". His passion, hard work, and love had a great influence on many friends and colleagues, and it is fair to say that he was a major contributor to what we know today to be the Chemistry Department.

My Uncle George always had a glint of excited wonder in his eyes and a humorous remark on his lips. I always looked up to him and strove to be like him. I am very proud to be his nephew. I will miss him dearly.

Dr. Pack was a wonderful person and alot of fun to be around. I will really miss out little chats we had. RIP George.

Dr. Pack was always nice and smiling. I will remember him warmly.

George's parents always spoke of him as if he were the brightest scientist alive. He was a shining star to both of them. RIP George.
