Not sure what to say?

Mary, I have tried reaching you through Donnellan Funeral Home, but haven't heard from you. I would like to send my condolences to you and your family. I have been trying to search for you and came upon Ned's death notice. I feel terrible that I was not able to find you before Ned passed. He was such a wonderful guy. You sure were lucky to have found him to share your life with. My brother Tom, cousins Ed & Bernadette have been trying to find you for a long time. We lost track of...

To Mary and the entire Agnew family,
We were so sad to learn of Ed's passing while we were in Rome. We are sorry that we could not be with you at the wake and funeral, but we lifted his spirit along with you from St. Peter's. We send you all our love and sympathy, and we want to know how we can help Mary in the weeks ahead. May peace find its way in amid the grief--Carrie & Stefano
