Edward C. Dirlam

Edward C. Dirlam, 83, of Cerritos, CA passed away at 7:58 p.m. on January 15, 2020 in Lakewood Regional Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, OH on December 27, 1936 to Kenneth and Edith Dirlam. He retired from Honeywell Corporation after over 30 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronnie 2019; step-mother, Helen Dirlam; brothers-in-law, Craig Robinson of OH and Leo Cofinco of CA. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Dirlam; daughter, Jerri Johnson; sons George Dirlam, Michael Dirlam, Mitchell Dirlam and Noli Boado; four grandsons , Jimi Upson, Kingston Dirlam, Noli Boado, Jr. and Jon Boado; great-granddaughter, Amaya Mitsu Upson. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Forest Lawn in Cypress. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Holy Family Church in Artesia followed by the burial with full military honors at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
