Eldo Madison Seals

Eldo (Butch) Madison Seals Jr. 74 years of age passed away surrounded by loved ones at home in Cathedral City, California on March 28, 2019 following a brief illness. Butch was born on May 22, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to Julia Ann Turbeville of Jackson, Alabama and Eldo Madison Seals Sr. of Belleville, West Virginia. He was raised in Akron and attended Kenmore High School. Butch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone.

Butch was preceded in death by Eldo, Julia and his Dad George Murphy. He leaves his loving wife of 38 years, Carolyn and sons Aaron Seals of Santa Monica, CA, Alan (Elena) Seals of Cathedral City, CA Jeff Seals of Akron, OH, and daughter Misti (Chris) Kerns of Santa Monica, CA. His grandchildren Kalei, Sierra, Alex, Hayden and Mason all who will miss him immensely. Brother Jerry Seals (Marilyn) Akron and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and dear lifelong-extended family friends.

Butch loved sports, Green Bay, Ohio State and the Cleveland Indians. He was an entrepreneur and a generous, loving and outgoing person who never knew a stranger. A gift of a wonderful sense of humor, a passion for his country and the men and women who serve. He held a fervor for his dogs, all animals and their welfare. He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and fishing. He celebrated the holidays in unique and fun ways with his family and friends and most enjoyed giving to others just to see the smile on your face.

A celebration of Butch's life will be held on Friday April 5, 5:00pm at Forest Lawn 69855 East Ramon Road Cathedral City, Riverside County, California, 92234 In lieu of flowers, please adopt an animal or donate to the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.
