Emeteria Gallarzo Rodriguez

Emeteria Gallarzo Rodriguez was born on December 9, 1936 in Durango Mexico. She lived in Los Angeles for the past 64 years with her husband, Rogelio, and later, their daughter, Lisa.
After a year-long fight with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Emeteria passed away at home, on November 5, 2020, surrounded by her caring family. She was 83 years old. After she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, in 2019, she was kept busy by her devoted family with a variety of activities and events that she truly looked forward to: weekly Lotería matches and weekend brunches.

My mom was the strongest woman I have ever met. She wasn't afraid of anyone or anything. Her Catholic faith was very strong. At a young age, she joined the KrystalLux Company as a craftsman designer, and we are very fortunate to have a few pieces of her work. She was a gifted seamstress who sewed one of a kind pieces for clients of all walks of life, from the Hollywood elite, to Olympians, and to her favorite: family and friends. In life, Emeteria demonstrated everlasting love and care for her family, and she will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband, Rogelio Rodriguez, her only daughter, Lisa (Rodriguez) Haro, her son-in-law, Manny Haro, and her granddaughter, Hailey Haro--all who loved her dearly, and who will never forget her whit, charm, grace, and elegance.
