Not sure what to say?

Mi hai aperto la tua casa senza conoscermi e te ne sarò eternamente grato. Avrei voluto parlare di più con te. Grazie a te posso dire di avere conosciuto un veterano della triste guerra. Riposa nella vera pace.

You opened your home without knowing me and I will be eternally grateful. I wanted to talk more with you. Thanks to you I can say that I met a veteran of the sad war. Rest in true peace.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Blair's passing. I was an X-ray technician at Dr. Paul Gilbert's office in Pasadena, and knew him as a patient for about ten years. He broght some in copies of photographs from a couple of his missions, and shared the details of each photograph with a smile. But the one story I will always remember the most was when he was excited to go on a trip during the summer with one of his grandsons, travel to a few air shows to demonstrate his bomb site, and how it all...

You will be missed, I am so glad we had the few years being in-touch with each other. Rest in peace Uncle Bill. You have earned it in more ways than can be told.

Our deep condolences, Connie. We always enjoyed your dad's sunshine smile and engaging stories about his 5th Bomb Group (H) missions, family, and hobbies--especially his demonstrations of his Norden Bombsight. Bill was our friend and one of our beloved 5th Bomb Group (H) heroes. We'll never forget you, Bill.

It was an honor to have met Mr. Blair. I enjoyed his WW 2 stories and seeing him demonstrate his Norton site bomb exhibit at the air shows. Sorry to see him go. He was a great american hero. David Timmerman

Our lives will be so empty without Bill in them. He was a pillar of strength, gentleness and courage in our 5th Bombardment Group (H) Association, a unit he served as a B-24 Co-Pilot with during WWII in the Pacific. May God bless you with eternal life in His arms, Bill.

You are missed.
