Not sure what to say?

Karen, I found out about your Dad's passing after I returned from visiting my grandkids in July. I have been meaning to contact you, and have let too much time go by. Your Dad was a wonderful man. Ernie and Helen were warm and kind to me when I was a very young girl. I have fond memories of playing at your house, ice skating on the pond, family meals around the table, going to Green Gables, and Holiday on Ice. Your Dad was bright and oh so charming. My sister and I thought he was so handsome,...

Helen and family,
Sending our deepest sympathy for the loss of Ernie. What a gentle man he was. We have fond memories of both of you when Walt had his J-3 Cub at your airport and the visits we had with you after you moved south. Keeping you in our prayers at this most difficult time.
Walt and Peanie Smith, Columbus, Ohio

The Bowers
So saddened to hear the news of Ernie's passing. Guess we always know that day will come but we're truly never ready for it. He was "one of the good guys" and a very special person. I'm certain you will have many fond memories to help you get thru this most trying time.
We will miss him,
Dean and Linda Weber

Ernie was one of our favorite people. Ken valued his time with him and wishes he spent more. Praying for the family.

Helen, Karen, Gene & Ed,
My heart goes out to all of you. Lots of good times and memories at the Bowers home on Alton Rd.
Thinking of all of you at this time.
