Not sure what to say?

Gene was the friend you could depend on to make you laugh. His art, music, and love of family and friends were all cornerstones of his existance. Rest in peace my friend. Prayers for the family and my sincere condolences for their loss.

Gene had been part of my life since before I had a life. He was my dads best friend since high school. I have many fond and hilarious memories of their misadventures. I will miss his wit and sarcasm. He could always make me laugh.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I know that Gene had much to do with the progress of the great Perryton museum. My mother, Janice, knew all of the family and often spoke of each of you. Growing up in the Perryton First Christian Church, it is really Margaret that I knew best and remember! I know, of course, that there are close connections with my sister-in-law, Lori Cates Pletcher. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of loss. I wish you peace.

Glad to have gotten to know Gene. Roger and Willetta Brown
