George's Obituary

George Harold Brasier, age 92 of Woodson Terrace, Missouri, was called to his heavenly home, Monday, September 16, 2019. He was born on Saturday, May 28, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri, one of three children born to the late Ernest and Irma (nee Reuter) Brasier.

George was the beloved husband for 65 years of Martha Jean Brasier (nee Buck); dear father of Curtis Brasier, Danny Brasier, and Dennis Brasier; cherished grandfather of Allison (Koal) Middleton, Quentin Brasier, Kinsey Brasier, Jeremiah Brasier, Jared Brasier, and Justin Brasier; dear great-grandfather of one; dear brother of the late Ken (late Jean) Brasier and the late Juanita (late Roy) Ross; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

George honorably served our country in the Navy during World War II and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Washington University. He worked primarily as a project manager and oversaw cement plant construction and rebuild projects all over the world. He and Martha were members of the former Marvin Park United Methodist Church in St. John, Missouri and also still connected to the church where they grew up, Mount Olive United Methodist Church in Robertsville, Missouri. George was also a 50+ year member of the Masonic Fraternal Lodge #363 A.F. & A.M. in Robertsville, Missouri.

Services: Visitation at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Road at I-170, St. Louis, Missouri (314-426-6000) on Thursday, September 19 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Second visitation at Mount Olive United Methodist Church, 4998 Highway N, Robertsville, Missouri on Friday, September 20 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial follows in the church cemetery.
