Not sure what to say?

I am very sad that the world lost an angel and glad that the Heavens gained one. I Have been friends with Gerry over 18 years he work on cases for me as a matter of fact I spoke to Gerry a week prior to his death and he ask to meet for lunch well I called to remind him and did not realize that he was that ill Gerry was a very strong person and would not allow you to see his pain, I received a call that he had passed away everything was going wrong for me that day when I received that call and...

Gerry and I were mediation and law buddies for a few years now. He was one of the most generous and kind men I have ever known - not to mention Very Intelligent!
I just found out of his passing, and I am simply heartbroken. We had lost touch over a few months, and I had no idea the cancer had returned.
I will remember him fondly. What a lovely man and great lawyer!

Gerry's Grandmother, Miss Dunn, and my Grandmother were friends and would visit each other often. Gerry and I also played sports together and were friends since we were kids. He was always just an all around good guy.

I remember Gerry from the 7th grade when he sat across from me in Mrs. Wood's class. The 1st 2 years in high school he was voted class favorite along with Pat West and Darenda Lunsford. He served as a class officer his Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. As a senior he was voted Mr. BHS.
Gerry excelled in everything he did and was a good friend to all. He celebrated with us at our 50th class reunion last year. He will truly be missed by the class of '62.
My condolences...

I met Gerry maybe seven years ago when he hired me to work on his house.
From then on I was lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time with him even sat in on some of his hearings he did over the phone with a judge. Not only was I an employee for Gerry but we became good friends and I will miss him. I will always remember him as being very intelligent and that I knew I could always depend on his good advice.I was lucky to spend a little bit of time with Gerry Wednesday afternoon. I...

I was deeply saddened to hear this news yesterday from my and Gerry's friend, Rodney Benefield. Gerry had the office next to mine for a number of years. He was an absolutely brilliant man and friend. One day, in a discussion about any and everything, we found out we were actually related. Turned out, Gerry's uncle (his mother's brother Jimmy Dunn) was my mother's brother-in-law, whom I knew quite well from spending a lot of time with my cousins. It was just one of things that tie us all...

My heart is broken. Gerry was a kind, supportive and understanding friend and colleague of mine for years. His gifts are fond memories, good humor and gentleness--these will sustain me, and all of us who loved him. A Holy Mass will be offered for Gerry at my church. In Loving Memory, Georgette Samaritan, Kennesaw, GA

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Gerry and I were neighbors, classmates and teammates in high school, roommates at Georgia Tech, played sports together in and out of school from age 10 on throughout high school, college and later in life. He was a wonderful person and friend. My wife, Mary Anna, and I will truly miss him. May God bless Gerry Mills.
