Gerry Yvonne Kuykendall

Gerry Yvonne Kuykendall, 87, born on April 29, 1934, to Charles and Yvonne Thompson in Culver City, CA, United States, passed away April 26, 2022. She resided in Simi Valley at the time of her passing and for the last 24 years.

She married her high school sweetheart Robert Kuykendall when she was 17 years old after graduating from Hollywood High School. She raised her family in Sherman Oaks, Ca and attended the Congregational Church of the Chimes for over 30 years making many lasting relationships.

Gerry led a very active social life, most recently as a part of the Simi Valley group "New in Town". She loved to travel, and shopping was her favorite hobby. She was an avid and loyal Lakers and Dodgers fan, never really missing a game.

She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Kuykendall and her beloved husband Robert Kuykendall. She is survived by her sister Lenora Massey, two daughters Kim (Randy) Ward and Karen Kuykendall, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California.
