Not sure what to say?

Gil and I met and worked together at the Carlton Hotel in Tyler, TX 1968. We did everything from room service to paint and clean pool. We both played guitars and sang and began to play at a free concert in Tyler on Wednesdays. Some of the best memories of my life. I went into the army before being drafted in 69.

My condolences to the family and my thanks for such a great friend.

God bless Gil. We grew up together in Washington DC. Our families lived in the same neighborhood in SE DC and when my family moved out to the suburbs Gil's family moved right across the street. Great! This produced a long and valued friendship. I lost track of Gil many years ago and he flashed in my mind today as I looked at old family pictures. I searched the web to see if I could find him and ended up at this page. So sad I was too late to say hello and pass on my love to him.

\m/ DC4L!!! you were a good man, a patriot and a loyal fan and son of Texas.. will miss you my friend.. God Bless you.

My heart goes out to all of Gil's family... I am sad for you, but happy for Gil that he is no longer struggling. We went to John Tyler High School together and I remember him as such a kind and gentle spirit. WIshing you all peace in your healing process...

RIP Gil.. deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to Gil's family in your time of loss.

Gil always had a big smile on his face and was a pleasure to work with while I worked at Kilgore EMS.

My prayers to your family.

RIP Gil. I know you are healed and well in Heaven. Prayers for your family that is left behind to mourn your loss. Gone too soon friend. Praying the peace and comfort that only Jesus gives to your family. God Bless them all.

Connie, you are in my thought and prayer. I am so sorry for your sorry.

Not a goodbye but a "see ya later"!
