Not sure what to say?

I knew Glendora in Berkeley CA from 1980-85. She and I were members of First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley and were members of the same prayer group. During this time she became a paralegal and made a successful career in that field. Glendora was a deep thinker and a resilient person. I moved from the Bay Area in 1985 and lost contact with her except through a mutual friend. I am so happy that she made a life full of art and creativity in NH.

Glendora was an inspirational influence on my quilting work. I honed my techniques learning from her and sewing for her business. We also had the pleasure of sharing many family events and celebrations before she moved away from the Berkeley area.
I am sorry I lost touch with her after she moved to the east coast but i think of her every time I sit to sew patchwork on my Singer Feather Weight. She sure made those machines popular, didn't she?

I knew Glendora as a member of the New Hampshire Quilt Documentation team. A very knowledgeable person who's quiet presence will be missed by friends. She contributed greatly to the quilt world and was a loyal friend to those close to her.

Glendora was an extraordinary person and friend. Her love of quilts and Americana was limitless. She taught and touched so many people, with patience, charm and uncompromising skill. Good one, our Glendora ...

There are Teachers and than there are Teachers who teach teachers. She was the nicest lady and a very close friend. I will miss you glendora

Glendora was a faithful member of our church for a quite a few years. I have several small Christmas tree stockings that she donated for our craft fairs. She was so talented and so pleasant a person. Glendora will be missed. Jane Britain Contoocook United Methodist Church

I took several quilting and drafting classes from Glendora in the 80s. Her intelligence, precision and sense of humor made her my favorite teacher ever and I have never forgotten her. I have enjoyed making quilts for family and friends ever since and her attention to detail and kindness in sharing her methods helped me so much. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
