Not sure what to say?

Krista and family,
So much I remember of Mr. Engels while Krista played with me on the JAIS. His dedication to our team enabled us compete at a higher level. You could see he truly loved the game and loved Krista. My condolences and prayers are with you.

Mr.Engels was well respected and loved for his dedication to softball and the lives he touched!!

God bless Mr. Engels. For he gave not only lessons on the game of softball, but on the game of life. I'm grateful to have had him as my coach. He taught me pitching, yes, but he also taught me how much respect, and confidence mean in the game. He gave me something beyond skill. As I know he has given to so many others. May his light forever shine on through us. RIP Mr. Engels, thank you for everything

I was Mr Engels original student! He made me into a successful pitcher despite my eye rolling, usually at every lesson there for a while. He stuck by me throughout Laney Softball 95-99 winning 2 State Championships, and encouraged me to start playing travel ball winning several USSA titles. He was so proud of us! He was a huge part of my family for the last 20+ years. We may not have always gotten along but I knew he loved me like a daughter. He was one of the main reasons we are now...

Mr Engles always called me Coach when I was catching for our daughter VJ during his lessons. He had to have a gruff and tough exterior so it was strong enough to hold his HUGE heart inside. The world is a better place because of him.

Krista,

You and your family are in my prayers. May you find comfort in your faith. Much love, Leeann Carpenter

Mr. Engels gave pitching lessons to my daughter Shauna for several years. We loved him like he was part of our family. He was a wonderful man and a great coach. We will cherish all the wonderful memories, he will never be forgotten.

Mr. Engels was truly a great person with a loving soul. God blessed him with a loving family and the patience to teach. He was a great coach. We will miss you! I thank you for all you taught my daughter Marie Watson-Plummer. God please be with his family.

Thank you for all you did for me Mr. Engels! You were a wonderful coach and friend! I went to you for several years and you were always a great help and inspiration! You will be missed!
