She was married to Nick Mars and is survived by her children Themes Mars and his wife Janet, Christine Mars and her husband Filippos. She has 5 grandchildren, Antonis, Eirini, Nicholas, Rachael, and Jacob. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California. Flowers can be sent to Forest Lawn or to the family home. In lieu of flowers a Donation can be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the name of Irene Mars.
