Not sure what to say?

Dear Ike, God bless you on this memorial day. I think of you often and miss our visits. You may not be here with us but I still feel your influence in my life and Pauls. We miss you. Love, Julie

Was sorry to here of your fathers passing. He was for sure one of my role models growing up. I know how much you must miss him, but I also know he is in Gods house now with your Mom. May God be with you all. Bob & Debbie Teal

To Ike's Family, with love and sympathy.
We just attended the wonderful celebration of life for Ike and would like to add a memory or two from our family. Ike and Helen were our neighbors across the alley when we moved to Walla Walla from New Zealand. Our 2 children Josh and Casey (4 and 2) quickly became best friends with Ike and loved "helping" him as he tended to his garden out the back of his garage. They all planted sunflowers together and the fun and excitement they...

Thanks Greg, for your recent help allowing me to communicate with Ike. My memories of working for your father at Continental Can Co., In Walla Walla in the 1960's, are filled with admiration; and appreciation for his ever-present mentoring and support in my career developement. You can be rightly proud of Ike's uncompromised faith and the example he set for so many of us. Thank you, once again.

For as long as I can remember there has been a kind and generous gentleman in my life I have known as uncle Ike. We have hunted, fished, camped, berry picked, ate, conversed, worked, and played together, and every memory is good. He was never negative, but always up-beat and up-lifting. He was never behind the wave critical of a situation, but on top of the wave wanting to move forward. Everytime I left after seeing Ike, I left feeling better and happier than when I had come. Ike, to me, was...

Dear Smith Family,
I will miss my visits with Uncle Ike. He was an insperation to me and filled the room with a heartfelt joy. I often felt like my visits with him, made my day more uplifting. God made Ike, and that one man influenced so many lives to be better. I cry for me because i will miss him. I don't cry for him because he is with the lord receiving gods love for his great contributions on earth teaching the rest of us to be like him. Rest easy my dear friend, Julie Clark

Dear cousins Norm, David and Greg,
Sad to learn of your dad's passing. He truly had a God given life on this earth!
I have very fond memories of your dad and mom as well as you boys.
My father Floyd Hutchins was related to
Mary Larson. Often our family would drive to Walla Walla and enjoy time with the Smith family on Portland Ave.
Just Wednesday Dan and Lavone (Larson) Edgar from Boise, ID, were her for a visit. Growing up we spent time with Stanley and Elaine and...
