The first time I met Dr. Guthrie was in an art studio in Little Rock circa 1967. He had bought a painted version of Washburn's Arkansas Traveler and I bought the Currier & Ives water color print of the "Turn of the Tune" a 2nd version of the AR Traveler. Dr. Guthrie was a fun acquaintance and always an encourager.
