ms.barnes eas and will always in our hearts she is entergettic and smart and beautiful and i knew her because she was my track coach but i felt like she was much more than just my track coach i felt like she was a sister someone you could just sit down and have a long talk with and her smile could light up the darkess road in the world you wil be missed your family will always be in our prayers

Ms. Barnes was my ESE teacher last year for two subjects. She was a fantastic teacher and I enjoyed very much being in her classes. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Dear Barnes family-
My son is a 7th grader at Burns Middle School and has autism. He had Miss Barnes for two classes this year. I remember meeting her at open house. She was so complimentary of my son and focused on his strong points and not his disability. She was enthusiastic about helping children with their education. She truly loved them and they loved her. Jettrice was an energetic teacher, ready to change the lives of the children at Harrity School, in Philadelphia. Her positive spirit, contagious smile and generous heart touched us all. My prayers go out to the Barnes family. Your sorrows will one day turn into smiles, and your grief will become glorious memories.

To the Barnes Family, I worked with Jettrice at the Harrity Elementary School in Philadelphia, PA. She loved all the students and the students loved Ms. Barnes she was always showing the young ladies how to do their hair or doing their hair for them. What the new fashion statement was. For the young men how to act and carry themselves as gentlemen should carry themselves. She was on a team of three teachers for the Special Education Program, and become the SEL for the team.
